Kenyon’s acting president is Provost Jeff Bowman. Sean M. Decatur was appointed Kenyon’s 19th president in July 2013 and concluded his service to the College at the end of December 2022 to assume the presidency of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. In June 2023, Kenyon announced that Julie Kornfeld, vice provost for academic programs at Columbia University, has been selected as the 20th president of the College. Kornfeld will assume the role on Oct. 1, 2023.
