Kenyon provides eligible employees with one free meal per day, up to five meals per week, at Peirce Dining Hall when the student residential meal plan is in effect. The employee dining program is not available during academic breaks or other periods when Peirce Dining Hall is closed.

Who is eligible? 

  • Benefits-eligible employees
  • Part-time employees
  • Temporary employees

Part-time and temporary employees may use the benefit during active work hours only.

Affiliated scholars and retirees are not eligible.

Dining Benefit Details

  • One meal per day, up to five meals per week
  • Standard benefit is Monday–Friday
  • Meals should be used on scheduled workdays
  • Unused meals do not roll over or transfer to another week or to another employee
  • Employees must scan their Kenyon ID when entering the servery
  • Meals are dine-in only and must be consumed in Peirce Dining Hall
  • To-go meals are not permitted
  • Peirce Express is not included in the employee dining benefit 

Weekend Meals 

Weekend meals are available only to employees who are scheduled to work on Saturday or Sunday. The meal must be used during the employee’s scheduled work hours. If the employee has already used their five meals for the week, they are not eligible for a meal during their weekend shift.
