Welcome to the Provost’s Office

The Office of the Provost provides leadership for Kenyon’s academic mission, working with faculty, staff and students to sustain an exceptional liberal arts education and foster a vibrant intellectual community. The provost serves as Kenyon’s chief academic officer, with responsibility for the academic program, faculty affairs and the College’s broader academic priorities.
Dianna Shandy became Kenyon’s provost in 2026. She works closely with Associate Provost Sheryl Hemkin and Associate Provost Travis Landry, the President’s Cabinet and Senior Staff, as well as faculty and colleagues across the College, to advance Kenyon’s educational mission.
The Office of the Provost team supports faculty and the work of the academic division through faculty affairs, academic processes, communications, scheduling and administrative coordination. The team includes Susan Britton, coordinator of faculty support; Jalene Fox, associate director for faculty affairs; and Amy Quinlivan, coordinator of administrative services.
