Kenyon is suspending its residential program and transitioning to remote instruction. Read more about Kenyon's response to COVID-19.
Kenyon has made the difficult decision to postpone its 192nd Commencement ceremony, originally scheduled for May 16, 2020.
While we recognize the importance of ritual in marking life transitions and tradition in strengthening the fabric of community, planning for a large scale event in May would be both impossible and irresponsible, given current projections for the COVID-19 crisis.
Kenyon is actively working with the senior class on plans to confer their degrees from afar at the start of the summer and to celebrate their Commencement on campus at a later date. We look forward to sharing those plans here, and in emails to our campus community, as they take shape.
In the meantime, we have closed the registration form for new reservations and will continue to honor cancellations and issue refunds.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the health and wellbeing of our students, family members, guests and the greater campus community. Thank you.
