How To View a Previously Generated Degree Evaluation
- Log in to Personal Access Pages-- mybanner.kenyon.edu
- Click on the Student Services & Financial Aid tab
- Click on Student Records
- Click on Degree Evaluation
- Select the current term. Your curriculum information appears, listing the majors, minors, and concentrations you have declared
- At the bottom of the next screen, choose Previous Evaluations
- Select the top item in the list of Current Evaluations — this will be the most recent
How To Generate a Degree Evaluation
On the Curriculum Information screen, choose Generate New Evaluation at the bottom. Select the current term and click on the circle to the left of Program. Click Generate Request. The request will appear.
How To Generate a Degree Evaluation For a Major or Majors You Have Not Declared
NOTE: This will not work accurately for the following majors: INST, ENVS, CLAS or any MLL department major
Follow the instructions above until you get to the Curriculum information screen
At the bottom of the next screen, choose What-If-Analysis
Entry Term: select the term you entered.
Program: select Bachelor of Arts
First Major: select from the list (note not one of those listed above)
Click Submit
Click Generate Request
Anatomy of a Degree Evaluation
Major(s) declared and the entering term for requirements
Minimum Required looks for 16.00 units/128 semester hours
Required Institutional can be disregarded.
Institutional Traditional = the amount of credit earned with a letter grade at Kenyon-- 8 units/64 semester hours required
Max Institutional Non-traditional is the amount of credit/no credit and pass/D/fail-- maximum of 3 units/24 semester hours
Overall GPA to graduate, it must be 2.00 or higher
Program Restricted Subjects and Attributes looks for maximum summer school (3 units/24 semester hours) and physical education (0.50 unit/4 semester hours)
Program Restricted Grades lists the grades that do not count toward any requirements.
Area Restricted Grade no grades of AP for diversification, no withdrawals or audits
General things to look for in the far right column -- source
KC = Kenyon course
Reg = registered
Tran = transfer course or AP/IB credit
Test = test score
Met/Not Met-- these appear in the purple bars and in the far left column
Diversification
The courses counting toward the completion of the requirement will be listed. If courses from two departments are listed, the Met? column will say No.

Major Requirements
Text outlining the requirements for the major
Sometimes, the number of courses required for the major
Specific course requirements are listed first. If they are met (Yes), the term, course, title, credit, grade, and source are listed
Course group requirements: These course groups are described. Courses counting toward these appear above the description.
Total credits and GPA are listed at the bottom.
Major GPA
All courses that will count toward the major appear here with the calculated GPA.
Credits Outside Discipline
Lists all courses outside the discipline for 9.00 units/72 semester hours required
Credits Outside Department (CLAS, MLL, ARTS/ARHS, DNDRF, MATH/STAT, MBIO/BCHM)
Lists all courses outside the department or departments for the 7.00 units/56 semester hours required
In Progress Courses
Current courses may appear more than once. This information can be helpful when a student is considering dropping or withdrawing from a course.
Courses Not Used
Lists any courses with grades from the Program Restricted list (AU, W, WI, WL, WP, WD)
