Room Capacity

Maximum occupancy limits in residential rooms and common spaces are established to protect resident safety, particularly with regard to fire codes, emergency evacuation and access to emergency services. All Kenyon College rooms are designated as singles or doubles based on the number of assigned occupants.

At any time, no more than 7 individuals may be present in a single room.

At any time, no more than 10 individuals may be present in a double room.

Apartment common areas have a maximum capacity of 20 individuals; hallways or floors primarily composed of bedrooms are not considered common areas.
