Community Standards

At Kenyon College, we believe in a culture of contributing to the well-being of others while caring for ourselves. Residential living is based on personal accountability, responsibility, and a shared respect for the needs of all individuals. Together, we work to establish residential communities where students can effectively rest, study, and live among others. As part of that effort, students should share a common understanding of the community standards detailed in the Residential Life Handbook and the Student Handbook. Student behavior that fails to respect these standards is harmful to the community as a whole and may result in referral to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities.
