Moving In

Move-in dates and times can be found on the Kenyon College academic calendar. Locations for check-in may vary based on class year and time of arrival. Students should refer to email correspondence from the Office of Residential Life for the most up-to-date information regarding their arrival to campus.

Students are not permitted in College-owned housing prior to established move in times or after established move out times without prior, written approval from the Office of Residential Life. Students approved to be in residence are not permitted to grant access to any College-owned housing to other residents who are not approved to be on campus. This includes allowing other students to occupy a residential space as a guest. 

Arrival and occupancy without prior approval, as well as granting access to unapproved students, will result in a fee and referral to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities.

Room Condition Report

A Room Condition Report (RCR) is completed by students at the time of check-in to document the condition of College property. Students have seven days to complete this form upon check-in. Residential Life uses the RCR to compare documented pre-existing conditions with the condition of the space at the time of check-out. Undocumented damages will be charged accordingly to the student's account.
