12 - 8 p.m. Registration Center Open

The registration center will be open for classes celebrating their 50th Reunion, Alumni Council, KFEC members and the Perennial Class. Alumni and Parent Welcome Center, 101 Scott Lane

6 p.m. Class of 1974 Reception at Bob and Buffy Hallinan's House

10431 Quarry Chapel Road, Gambier

Round-trip transportation will be provided. Shuttles will run continuously from 5 - 7 p.m. and every 30 minutes from 7 - 9:30 p.m. The last shuttle will run at 9:30 p.m. Pickup and drop off at McBride Hall Loop, 202 Gaskin Ave. 

9 a.m. Class of 1974 Tour led by Tom Stamp

Whether it's been 1 year or 50 years since you've been to the Hill, you'll enjoy this class only tour of campus led by Tom Stamp. Meet at the north door of the Church of the Holy Spirit

1 - 2:30 p.m. Twenty Presidents: Kenyon Looks Back at the Men and Women Who Have Led the Institution Since its Founding in 1824

Join college historian, Tom Stamp ‘74, for his talk on the history of Kenyon’s presidents. Community Foundation Theater, lower level of The Gund (formerly known as the Gund Gallery)

1:15 - 2:30 p.m. Fungi, Flora and Fauna at the Brown Family Environmental Center

1974 classmates Jim Vick and Miriam Dean-Otting will lead a walk through part of Kenyon’s nature preserve, pausing to view fungi, flowers, and many species of birds. We’ll pass through the woods along the Kokosing and then head for the meadows. Comfortable shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Meet at 1:15 p.m. at the first parking lot to the right on Laymon Road after crossing 229 and the bridge, BFEC

5 p.m. Parade of Classes

Relive Opening Convocation with a parade down Middle Path to an all-classes welcome reception on Peirce Lawn. Classes will gather in the village and walk south through the gates towards the hospitality tent. Please arrive at 4:45 p.m. for the parade line-up and check in on Middle Path north of Brooklyn Street. Spectators are encouraged to line the parade route just south of the gates by the hospitality tent located on Peirce Lawn. Middle Path (near the Bookstore)

5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Bicentennial Block Party

Reunion registrants, along with faculty, staff and other members of the Kenyon community, are invited to enjoy complimentary dinner, drinks (including beer and wine), novelty food items, games and live music at a special Bicentennial Block Party following the Parade of Classes. Hospitality Tent, Peirce Lawn

6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Class of 1974 50th Reunion Presidential Reception

Please bring your dinner ticket with you to this event. Dinner will begin immediately following the conclusion of the reception. Alumni Dining Room, Peirce Hall 

7:30 p.m. Class of 1974 50th Reunion Dinner

Please note, this event is free for members of the Class of 1974, but classmates MUST register for this dinner during registration, as it is a ticketed event. Thomas Hall, Peirce Hall

9 p.m. (approx) Bicentennial Illumination

The illumination of Old Kenyon will begin around 9:30 p.m., so those who wish to attend should plan to depart from dinner at 9 p.m. Front Lawn, Old Kenyon

An evening of dinner and dancing. At the soiree, the Class of 1974 will pass the baton to the upcoming 50th Reunion Class of 1975. Pre-registered guests are invited to this evening of dinner and dancing.
