At Kenyon, students and faculty from all walks of life, faiths and cultures come together to learn with and from each other. Engaging a wide range of viewpoints and supporting all voices is the bedrock of a liberal arts education and it shapes everything we do — how we teach, what we offer, and how we build and support our community. Whatever your path to Gambier, you’ll be part of what defines and molds the Kenyon community — because even as a Kenyon education transforms students, students transform Kenyon.
Resources for All
It takes all of us to build and sustain a welcoming community, and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is a hub of that activity. It serves all students, helping you access the tools you need to reach your full potential and inviting us all to explore and celebrate the vibrant mix of cultures and traditions at Kenyon.
Scholars and Mentors
Kenyon’s signature KEEP Scholars and STEM Scholars programs are designed to build community and promote academic achievement among students with shared backgrounds and interests. As a KEEP or STEM Scholar, you jumpstart your Kenyon education with an immersive summer experience and receive ongoing advising, mentoring and other support — empowering you as both a scholar and a community leader.
Find and Create Community
Whatever your background or interests, you’ll have an open invitation to celebrate them at Kenyon and explore traditions that are new to you. Here are just a few of the communities Kenyon students have helped shape.
Additional Resources
