Article VI. Voting

Section 1: Voting Procedure

A. Regular business at meetings of the Campus Senate is subject to a simple majority vote of officers, as outlined in Robert’s Rules of Order.

• a. Items that have been placed on the written agenda, and discussed during that meeting can only be voted upon in that meeting with a unanimous vote.

B. The President or their designee shall vote only in the case of a tie.

C. Alternative voting thresholds shall be used only when specified within the Campus Senate Constitution.
