Shipping to Students During the Academic Year

Since residence hall doors are not accessible to non-students, all packages shipped to students during the academic year must be sent to one of the following addresses, depending upon your shipper's preference:

Student Name
P.O. Box ####
Gambier, OH 43022

Student Name
106 Gaskin Avenue
Gambier, OH 43022

When packages arrive at the Mail Center on the lower level of Farr Hall, students will receive notifications via email. Students must pick up their package at the Mail Center within three days, M-F 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 - 4 p.m. They must show their student ID or other picture ID to receive their package, and packages will not be released to anyone except the student to whom they are addressed. Package not picked up within the three days may be returned to sender as unclaimed.

Local perishable items should be delivered to the Office of Campus Safety (for example, flowers, bakery items, etc.). Food items (pizza) ordered by a student are the responsibility of the student. Students must meet delivery people at the door of their residence halls to receive items.

Shipping to Students Before Classes Begin

(Aug. 10 - 28, 2020)

Students are encouraged to ship packages to their PO box via the United States Postal Service. These packages will be available for pick-up at the Gambier Post Office upon arrival to campus. New students will receive their PO box number by mail in their housing assignment packet, and all students may view their number by searching for their name in the online extended directory.

Please note that some merchants will not ship to a PO box; in that case, packages should be shipped to the 106 Gaskin Avenue address.
