Kenyon charges OCS students Kenyon tuition, room and board. If the program’s tuition, room, and board is higher than Kenyon tuition, room, and board, the higher program fees will be charged by Kenyon. Kenyon will pay tuition, room and board to the program.

Meals
For programs where meals are considered additional costs and not covered by the program, self-catered, or a portion of the meals are the student’s responsibility, Kenyon will provide a credit to the student's Kenyon account to cover those costs, as long as it does not result in the total cost of the program fees and credit exceeding Kenyon’s total tuition, room, and board.

Housing
Kenyon pays the standard cost of program fees as presented on the program’s specific website. Any supplemental charges over that will be billed to the student, except in the case of a homestay, as long as it does not result in the total cost of the program fees and credit exceeding Kenyon’s tuition, room and board.

For programs where rooms are considered out of pocket expenses and not covered by the program, Kenyon will provide a credit to the student’s Kenyon account, as long as it does not result in the total cost of the program fees and credits exceeding Kenyon’s tuition, room and board.

Financial Aid
Aid will carry to the OCS program, with the exception of work-study, Kenyon Music Lessons, and CA Benefits. For students on financial aid, expenses such as travel, books, etc., will be taken into account when calculating any credit. Students are encouraged to discuss their specific situation with CGE staff.

Kenyon Tuition Remission and GLCA Tuition Remission benefits do not transfer to OCS programs. Students who receive these benefits may apply for financial aid. Students who receive these benefits are strongly encouraged to talk with CGE staff.

Kenyon pays the program fees. However, Kenyon will not pay for any extra-curricular activities such as gym memberships or club fees (including study tours or field trips not included in costs.) This includes optional pre-semester courses offered by the program.
