Students receiving financial assistance under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, who withdraw from Kenyon during the first 60 percent of the semester (in calendar days) will be subject to a Return of Title IV Funds calculation to determine the portion of their federal student aid that must be returned to the federal government.

Students who withdraw after the 60 percent of the semesterhas been completed are considered to have earned all of the federal student aid. State aid reductions may also be required in accordance with each state's regulations.

Work-study funds are paid directly to students as earned, and so, cannot be considered as a credit toward tuition payment.

Federal law requires the College to gain written permission from the borrower before Title IV Funds (e.g. Stafford, Plus, or Perkins Loans) may be used to pay miscellaneous charges or before a credit created by Title IV Funds may be retained on account.

Any questions should be directed to the Office of Financial Aid at 740-427-5430.

If you have not previously completed this form and you are the recipient of Title IV funds, please complete this form and return to the Student Accounts Office.
