A new academic year powered by $76 million in new commitments.

Loretta “Lorie” Shults, a retired staff member for campus safety and student affairs who was known for her generosity, died July 31.

The College’s governing board added at-large trustees as well as new members representing parents and alumni on July 1.

Roger Wakeman, vice president for facilities and energy at Dartmouth College, will join Kenyon College as its inaugural chief operating officer on August 13, 2025.

Keith DiDonato will join Kenyon College as vice president for advancement on August 4, 2025.

Four dedicated employees were honored with the College’s Distinguished Service Award and Staff Council’s Kenyon Spirit Award.
