Students and family members who are still in the residence halls, meet your CAs in your residence hall lobbies to walk to the Orientation kick0off.

2 p.m. Fall Orientation Kick-off, Toan Track, Lowry Center

The official kick-off of Fall Orientation for students and guests. Learn what to expect through the Orientation program and beyond. At the end of the program, students will meet their Orientation groups. *Orientation group assignments can be found on name tags and in their Kenyon emails. 

3 p.m. Orientation Programming, Locations vary

Student programming will continue until 9 p.m.; parent programming will conclude at 5 p.m.

5 - 6 p.m. Student Dinner, Peirce Hall

Family members are on their own for dinner.

6:30 - 8 p.m. Family Dessert Reception, Alumni Dining Room, Peirce Hall

Family members are invited to join Kenyon team members and co-chairs of the Kenyon Parents Council for a dessert reception. Hear tips from current parents and meet members of the Kenyon team. Remarks begin at 7 p.m.


Sunday, August 24

10:30 a.m. - Noon. Opening Convocation, Toan Track, Lowry Center

Opening Convocation is an annual tradition at Kenyon for new students. You will have the opportunity to hear from President Julie Kornfeld and Student Council President Christiane Betfarhad, among others. Families are welcome and encouraged to attend. This event will also be livestreamed.
