Welcome to Kenyon! Saturday's schedule includes New Student Check-In at the Lowry Center, information about Kenyon support services, the Fall Orientation Kick-Off on Samuel Mather Lawn, meetings with your Orientation Group and Community Advisors, and a community-building event in the evening.
Sunday, Aug. 20
Opening Convocation welcomes new students to campus; families are welcome and encouraged to attend before departing after the ceremony. Sunday also includes faculty advising meetings, language placement exams and the Kenyon Karnival, an evening of arcade games, snacks, music and prizes.
Monday, Aug. 21 - Wednesday, Aug. 23
Orientation programming for students continues including Orientation Group information sessions, course registration support, academic department presentations, an introduction to fitness classes, and the New Student Sing and Convening Dinner on Wednesday evening. Social activities include an interactive game show on Monday, a hypnotist on Tuesday and an ice cream social on Wednesday.

Visit the Lowry Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for the Student Involvement Fair, which including lunch (the Peirce Hall servery will be closed).

2 p.m. First-year golf families and student-athlete welcome reception
Thursday, August 17
International Pre-Orientation (Pre-O) is hosted by the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) for new international students. New F-1 and other visa holding international students are required to attend International Pre-O. Domestic students who reside abroad and U.S. Permanent Residents are invited to attend International Pre-O and should contact the CGE (email@example.com) if they plan to attend.
