The Writing Center Community welcomes any Kenyon writers (students, staff and faculty) at any stage of their writing process. If you don't know what your process is yet, we can help you there, too! When we write "any stage," we mean brainstorming ideas, polishing prose, practicing speeches or presentations, being a conversation partner for our international students, and more!

We keep track of what we our most popular areas of support are for students at Kenyon. Last year, we were tasked with helping students most often with the argumentative flow of their work, followed by questions about the way the work was completing analysis, followed by questions about how the writer was articulating their ideas. We're excited to see what we'll help with most this year!

You can make an appointment for either consultants or liaisons and schedule to meet in the center on Chalmers Library floor two (2) or to meet remotely using the platform (directions on how to do so are on our YouTube channel and also available on our homepage at the bottom).

The Writing Center is open for walk-in and liaison hours Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m., Monday and Wednesday from noon to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m., and Friday from noon to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.
