JED Campus is a nationwide initiative of The Jed Foundation designed to help colleges evaluate and strengthen their mental health, substance misuse, and suicide prevention programs and systems in order to ensure the strongest possible mental health safety nets. There are currently over 400 campuses engaged in the JED Campus program; Kenyon is in year four of this partnership.
Kenyon’s JED Campus Leadership Team Members
Our JED Campus team is an interdisciplinary, campus-wide group of more than 30 staff, students and faculty who provide a broad range of perspectives on student mental health.
Current campus leaders include Alice Teall, senior director of wellness, and Ted Mason, associate provost for diversity, equity & inclusion and special advisor to the president
A Four-Year Collaboration
Over the course of four years, Kenyon has collaborated with JED to help implement enhancements, and has received survey feedback from Kenyon students about our efforts to provide mental health and substance use services, promote social connectedness and enhance student wellness.
- Year 1 (2022): Assessment and Strategic Planning

It has been an honor to be a part of the JED Campus program since spring 2022.
