Kenyon College participated in the JED Campus program from 2022 through 2025, partnering with The Jed Foundation (JED) to strengthen campus systems that support student mental health, emotional well-being, substance misuse prevention and suicide prevention. Through this four-year initiative, Kenyon engaged students, faculty and staff in a comprehensive assessment and strategic planning process that led to meaningful enhancements in wellness programming, mental health services, crisis response, prevention efforts and student support systems.

JED Campus Alumni Network

In recognition of successfully completing the program, Kenyon was designated a JED Campus Alumni institution in 2025. As a member of the JED Campus alumni network, Kenyon remains connected to JED resources, professional learning opportunities and a national community of colleges and universities committed to promoting student well-being.

As a JED Campus alumni institution, Kenyon continues to engage with JED resources, professional learning opportunities, and a national network of colleges and universities dedicated to student well-being.

Kenyon has also completed a campus-wide means safety environmental scan and is implementing recommendations to strengthen prevention efforts, including enhanced crisis-resource messaging and residence hall window stickers that provide emergency support information and connections to care.

Through these efforts, Kenyon continues to build upon the foundation established through the JED Campus program while fostering a campus community where all students can thrive.
