Visit the BFEC for an evening walk to look and listen for the animals that become active around dusk. We’ll explore how wildlife uses sound, smell, movement, camouflage and timing to survive when the light begins to fade. Along the way, we may hear frogs, notice insects and late-summer birds, look for signs of mammals and follow other clues that tell us who is sharing the trails after dinner.

Visit the BFEC and search for fairy houses! They are visible from the hiking trail so please be sure to stay on the path. Take an easy walk along the outer edge of our labyrinth trail and see how many fairy houses you can spy.

Paintings by local artist Paige Hashman explore a dreamscape of life through neon color choices and vibrant movement, reminding the viewers that life isn’t all that serious and that there is always time to dance. The exhibit can be viewed any time the BFEC Resource Center is open.
