Ease into your evening with a slower, more grounded yoga practice, every Wednesday from May 13 to Sept. 2. This class focuses on simple poses, longer holds and time to settle into your body.

Connect with nature during this 45 minute - 1 hour experience using nervous system regulation techniques, grounding exercises and a mindful walk at the BFEC while receiving distance reiki.

Explore the incredible ways animals sense their surroundings and make decisions. Through hands-on activities, outdoor exploration and real animal examples, we’ll investigate how different species find food, avoid danger, communicate and navigate a world full of hidden information.

Kenyon's collaboration with Pelotonia will culminate this year with cyclists finishing Ride Weekend's longest route in Gambier on Aug. 1. Community members are invited to line the final kilometer and cheer on the participants.

Drop in for a self-guided family experience at the BFEC prairie, home to many species working together to create a special ecosystem shaped by flowers, forbs and flames. See birds, bugs and plants, examine insect displays, and use the plants you find to make leaf and flower rubbings.

Take a break in the middle of your day with a gentle, flowing yoga practice, every Monday from Aug. 3 to Sept 28. This class links movement with breath, helping you reset and recharge before heading back to the rest of your day.

Craft effective statements of grant purpose and short answer responses for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program application. The session is hosted by the Writing Center and the Office of National Fellowships & Scholarships.

Visit the BFEC to explore the strange and fascinating world of animal defenses through hands-on activities, outdoor investigation and real examples from the natural world. We’ll compare different survival strategies and think like biologists as we ask why animals look and behave the way they do.

The Kenyon Inn will host parties on their outdoor patio featuring live music May 29, June 12 and August 7.

Visit the BFEC and search for fairy houses! They are visible from the hiking trail so please be sure to stay on the path. Take an easy walk along the outer edge of our labyrinth trail and see how many fairy houses you can spy.

Paintings by local artist Paige Hashman explore a dreamscape of life through neon color choices and vibrant movement, reminding the viewers that life isn’t all that serious and that there is always time to dance. The exhibit can be viewed any time the BFEC Resource Center is open.
