Welcome to the Career Development Office!
Our mission is to facilitate your career success. Visiting our website is a good first step. Our staff is eager to help you identify career interests, gain experience, prepare to further your education, and plan a strategy for a job search.
Interested in applying for on-campus jobs? You'll need a resume! Check out our First Year Resume Guide, and don't hesitate to reach out for assistance.
The Career Development Office is here to provide you with programs, services, and opportunities that allow you to explore how your academic and personal interests may align with your professional opportunities, starting in your very first semester on campus. We also provide assistance navigating applications for on-campus student employment, internships, full-time employment, and graduate school programs. You will be able to take advantage of on- and off-campus interview opportunities and employer information sessions. Please use the navigation to dive into our resources and schedule an appointment with a counselor in Symplicity.
We currently offer lifetime services for alumni. If you are in a position to help a current Kenyon student, please follow the links to join The Kenyon Career Network, become a job shadow sponsor, and hire a Kenyon student.
The Career Development Office believes that you play a vital role in the success of your student as they prepare to graduate from Kenyon. Please take a look at our quarterly Parent Newsletter, designed to give you information on the current world of work, and the resources and opportunities available to your student. Our Ways You Can Assist page provides ideas on how you help your student, and other Kenyon College students alike, by becoming a mentor and an Extern Host through the Kenyon Career Network and opportunities for your organization to recruit top talent. Also, review our Institutional Research page to see what career fields Kenyon College graduates have entered, their functional areas, and other details.
