McBride Residence is our largest first-year residence hall and is located beside Gund Commons which has a large computer lounge and game room. McBride is a smoke-free residence hall, as are all of the residence halls.
McBride is fully carpeted and air-conditioned, but you might want to bring a fan for hot fall days. The hall is primarily co-ed by random room, with men and women living next door to each other. McBride is furnished with a large kitchen, min-lounges, and comfortable television lounge. There is an overhead light, desk light, and dresser light, but you may want to bring a reading lamp. As with all first-year residence halls, McBride is a smoke-free and alcohol-free living area.
