The mission of the Environmental Health and Safety Office (EHS) is to create and maintain a safe and healthy environment where students, faculty, and staff can learn, teach and work effectively, while ensuring that the College operates in an environmentally responsible manner. We achieve this through proactive risk management, education, and continuous improvement of our safety practices.

EHS is also dedicated to protecting the campus, local community and environment from potential hazards, while fostering a culture of safety, health and environmental stewardship. The team provides guidance and support to help ensure compliance with safety regulations and to promote safe practices across academics and research.

The EHS Office operating hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. If you need to contact EHS after hours, please call 911.
