Dean of Student Development Robin Hart Ruthenbeck completed bachelor's and master's degrees at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, after which she spent time at a number of institutions throughout the Midwest, including DePauw University, Carleton College and Macalester College. Her roles in residential life, academic advising, orientation and transition programs, campus programs, leadership, and accessibility services provided a solid foundation as a generalist in student affairs. In 2015, Robin earned her Ed.D. at the University of Minnesota, where her research explored students in transition and how their development of a sense of belonging was impacted by social networking. Robin and her husband Paul enjoy spending time outdoors (camping, hiking, practicing photography) with their dog, Titus.
