
Catelen Ramsey is a dedicated and passionate social worker committed to promoting student well-being and healthy communities. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Middle and Early Childhood Studies and her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University and is a licensed social worker with years of experience leading youth programs, teaching in higher education and mentoring future social workers.
Before joining Kenyon College as associate director for health promotion, Catelen served as assistant director of outreach for Ohio State’s LiFEsports initiative and taught as a community lecturer in the College of Social Work. She has shared her expertise at national conferences, presenting on topics such as youth development, community partnerships and sport-based social work practices. Catelen is especially passionate about creating engaging health education and outreach initiatives that empower students to thrive during their college years and beyond.
Outside of work, Catelen is engaged and will be getting married this fall. She lives in Columbus with her rescue pup, Neo, and cherishes her role as an aunt to seven amazing nieces and nephews. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and has recently developed a passion for crocheting.
