Fall Visit Days are designed with you in mind: meet students and professors, sit in on classes, and explore our new academic and residence halls as well as our action-packed athletic center. With a range of tours, interviews and workshops to choose from, you can tailor your experience to fit your interests.

9:20-10 a.m. Student Panel and Q&A
Lowell House, Paul Newman Room
Students share their Kenyon experiences and answer your questions in a panel moderated by Matt McPherson, Associate Director of Admissions and Director of Student and Community Relations.
 
10:10-11 a.m.
Students have a choice of class visits, interviews, campus 
tours, or an English and creative writing tour.
Guests can join the tours or explore campus on their own. 
  • Class visit: Sit in on a class of your choice, meet the professor, and engage with the course materials. 
  • Interview: This is a chance for you to get to know Kenyon better and for us to get to know you better. You'll meet one-on-one with a student admissions fellow. 
11 a.m.-12 p.m. Lunch
Peirce Dining Hall, Great Hall and Alumni Dining Room
Enjoy lunch and conversation with members of the Kenyon community.
 
12:10-1 p.m.
Students have a choice of class visits, interviews or specialty tours.
 
Specialty tours:
  • Arts: Find inspiration in Kenyon’s performance and studio art spaces.
  • Athletics: Envision yourself making full use of our architecturally stunning Lowry Center, equipped with top-flight facilities. Please note: the return walk is uphill and can be semi-strenuous for some.
  • English and creative writing: Examine writing at Kenyon, from majoring in English to interning at the world-renowned Kenyon Review. Sciences: Discover the ins and outs of the Science Quad, where you will see classrooms, labs and perhaps some research in progress.
1:10- 2 p.m.
Students have the choice of a workshop or class visit.
Guests of students may attend a separate workshop. 
 
Admissions and Financial Aid Workshop
Lowell House 100 
Guests will learn about the application process and financing a college education in this hands-on workshop and Q&A session.
 
Mock Application Review
Lowell House 400
Students will learn how applications and essays are evaluated while getting the chance to review and critique samples.
 
2:10-3 p.m.
Students have a choice of class visits, interviews, campus tours, or an English and creative writing tour.
Guests can join the tours or explore campus on their own.  
 
2:10-4:30 p.m. Open House with Admissions and Financial Aid
Lowell House, Living Room
Stop by Lowell House for light refreshments. Admissions and financial aid team members will be on hand to answer any lingering questions you may have.
 
3:10-4 p.m.
Students have a choice of class visits, interviews, or specialty tours.
Guests can join the campus and specialty tours or explore campus on their own.
