Students collaborate with faculty on research in the introductory laboratory class, advanced classes, paid positions, and the Honors program.Integrative approaches.
Students can choose interdisciplinary majors or concentrations in Environmental Studies, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Neuroscience. Classes integrate information from molecules to ecosystems.First-rate facilities.
Students work with research-grade instruments in their classes and research projects, and the Brown Family Environmental Center is extensively used in both classes and research.

Our biology and molecular biology graduates are accepted into prestigious medical school and graduate schools and can be found working in some of the finest research labs in the country.

Pam Moriarty '11 and Claire Anderson '10 traveled to Salt Lake City with Professor Siobhan Fennessy to present their research at the Society of Wetland Scientists meeting and spent time with Amanda Nahlik '02 and Ellen Herbert '07.
