¡Hola!

¡Hola! is a program for community members of all ages, developed and facilitated by dedicated, multilingual Kenyon students. This program provides one-on-one tutoring sessions and mentorship twice a week with Latino children and adult learners from Knox County at the Wright Center.

The Rural Cause

This student-run, campus-wide initiative seeks to strengthen the College’s ties to its location in rural, central Ohio. Through education, support and action, the Rural Cause aims to build community bridges and raise awareness of the rural reality in Knox County and across the United States.

Education Initiative

This student-run initiative connects Kenyon students with education programs and partners. The group meets regularly with the goals of providing teaching experience and programming for Kenyon students interested in education, building bridges between Kenyon and the larger Knox County community, and providing support to local schools and their students.

  • Partnership of East Knox and Mount Vernon School Districts and Kenyon

Connecting Kenyon students to the local East Knox and Mount Vernon community, creating learning opportunities for Kenyon students to assist local elementary school teachers while enhancing the understanding of the local environment.

  • Bright Minds Mentorship

Kenyon students become weekly mentors at local schools — offering afterschool homework help hours, enrichment activities and one-on-one mentorship.

    Kenyon College Bike Barn

The Bike Barn is a student-led co-op for community members wanting to learn how to maintain and repair bikes and/or assistance with their bikes.  For more information email Kbikes@kenyon.edu
