Kenyon partners with Knox County Transit (KCT, formerly KAT) to provide public transportation from Gambier to Mount Vernon. The Kenyon Bus (purple line) runs Monday - Saturday and loops through downtown Mount Vernon, the Coshocton Avenue business area and back to Gambier.
Kenyon students, faculty and staff can present their Kenyon ID for free service; for the general public, the fare is $1. For mobility device service, call 740-392-7433. Carry-on items should be limited to what can be boarded in one trip and will remain in the seat with you.
Knox County Transport partners with a mobility app by Ecolane that can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
Stop times are the earliest time the shuttle will arrive and leave the stop. Due to traffic and other circumstances, please allow up to five minutes after the posted arrival time.
Shuttle Schedule
The Kenyon Bus runs from the Kenyon College Bookstore to the Wright Center in downtown Mount Vernon 10:28 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
It makes the Coshocton Avenue loop 5 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday - Friday and 1 - 7 p.m. Saturday.
Summer Schedule
The Kenyon Bus operates on a reduced schedule during the summer months. From mid-May, the shuttle will run Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4 - 8 p.m., and Saturdays, 1 - 7 p.m.
