Posters and large format prints are a necessary part of several department’s curriculum and are often a covered expense for students enrolled in classes requiring them. Through this print-to-order service, poster-sized prints and banners are now available to the greater Kenyon community; for personal or professional display.

Preparing Your Poster
Currently, Kenyon’s large format printing service offers three paper sizes, 24”, 36” and 42”. When preparing your print, you will want to make sure that at least one of the document’s two lengths is no larger than 42”.

Currently, custom cutting options are unavailable so please ensure one side of your print complies with one of the listed sizes or that you have the means to cut it to the preferred size, yourself.

We ask that all posters are submitted as a sharable link from your Google Drive and that the file is named with your preferred name and the document’s intended dimensions, in inches. For example, (Philander-Chase-24x36). This will help us to ensure that no scaling occurs and that you receive the print at or as close as possible to the size you requested.

Additionally, the document must be saved as an Adobe PDF file or it may be rejected.

Requesting a Poster/Banner
To request a poster or banner, simply visit your TopDesk portal (keyon.topdesk.net) and follow the prompts. Please be sure to provide as much information as possible including the best means of contacting you in the event of an unscheduled delay of service or problems with your print.

Poster printing currently asks for a minimum turnaround time of five days from the day of submission, though printing will likely take far less than that. This service does not accept same-day print requests.

You will be required to select one of three printing materials for your poster or banner which are limited to Draft (typical printer paper stock but slightly thicker), Poster (a semi-matte material most commonly used for poster prints), and Fabric (a plastic material resembling canvas which is more versatile and the most expensive of the three options).

Poster Pick-up
Customers will be notified of their poster order’s completion via email and can retrieve their printed poster in the Chalmers Tech Center/HelpDesk which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Posters will be rolled and labeled with the customer’s filename in one of two white bins near the Help Desk. Please remember to pick up your poster promptly to avoid possible damage or confusion.

Support
Printing support can be requested by contacting Helpline or by replying to the TopDesk ticket sent out at the time of the print request.
