So Happy Together

Campus came to life as new students arrived in Gambier for Move-In Day.

Smiling faces were the order of the day as hundreds of new students arrived on campus in August, eager for their first taste of life on the Hill. Residence halls buzzed with activity as members of the Class of 2029 and transfer students unloaded belongings, decorated rooms and made themselves at home.

They were joined by scores of their peers who arrived a bit earlier to participate in one of four new pre-orientation programs. Those students met in small groups over two days to get to know each other — and the region — better while undertaking a deeper exploration of the arts, sustainability, community engagement and student leadership

Surrounded by newfound friends and limitless possibilities, the newest members of the Kenyon community made their first days on campus memorable as they took their first steps on Middle Path together.
