Presidential Search Forum on Jan. 19

Date

Dear members of the Kenyon College community,

I am pleased to write with an update on the presidential search. The search committee, together with our partners at Storbeck Search, will be on campus next week to gather community input on the qualities to seek in Kenyon’s next president. We will host a forum during Common Hour next Thursday, January 19, at 11:10 a.m. in Brandi Recital Hall, and I very much hope that you will attend.

In addition to hosting a campus forum, the committee will meet with members of the executive committee of the faculty, Student Council, Staff Council and Senior Staff.

If you are not able to attend the campus forum or if you wish to offer additional input, I invite you to share your thoughts via this survey. The input we receive by January 20 will inform the development of the leadership profile describing our aspirations for the position, the first step in launching the search. You may also email the committee at any time at presidentialsearch@kenyon.edu.

The success of the search depends very much on seeking the perspectives of all members of the Kenyon community. I thank you in advance for contributing yours, and I look forward to sharing the leadership profile with you in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, please visit Kenyon’s website for more information on the presidential search and the members of the search committee.

Sincerely,

Aileen Hefferren ’88, H’12
Chair, Presidential Search Committee
