Kenyon alumni give reading to benefit United Way of Knox County

GAMBIER, Ohio — Kenyon College alumni will make a virtual return to their alma mater Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. for a reading hosted by the Kenyon Review in collaboration with student groups Sunset Press and Rural Cause. 

The event, titled “Writers’ Harvest,” serves as a fundraiser to address hunger in Knox County. Registration is free, but donations will be accepted for United Way of Knox County. 

Returning alumni include 1989 graduate Kelly Fordon, 2002 graduate Caitlin Horrocks, 2014 graduates Annette Covrigaru and Allyson Young, 2015 graduate Celine Aenlle-Rocha, 2017 graduate Colin Ainsworth and 2019 graduate Claire Oleson. Their books will be available for sale through the Kenyon Review Bookshop. Kenyon Professor of English Emerita Jennifer Clarvoe and Royal Rhodes, the Donald L. Rogan Professor of Religious Studies Emeritus, will introduce the event.
