Alumni returned to campus this year in throngs to join with students in enjoying Festifall: A Kenyon Homecoming. The sunny, autumn weekend was full of good vibes — from the lively block party outside Peirce Hall to the bonfire near Gund Commons.
Crowds cheered on the home team in football, field hockey and women’s soccer. Others attended the Hall of Fame induction ceremony honoring some of the College’s all-time best athletes and joined in activities related to reunions for men’s baseball, men’s lacrosse and women’s softball.
It was a chance for deep thinking, too, with conversations involving the likes of Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo López ’93, who was in town to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Integrated Program in Humane Studies and spoke with Raul Romero ’22.
For some, the weekend was also an opportunity to get down to business. Alumni volunteers with Alumni Council and the Kenyon Fund Executive Committee were joined by alumni from the Class of 2002 returning to plan for their 25th reunion in May.
