COVID-19 Update: Return from Spring Break

The College will remain at Campus Activity Level 0 as students return to campus. We strongly encourage all students to test before traveling back to campus.

Date

Dear Kenyon staff, students and families,

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to campus next week, as Gambier greens up and spring’s first flowers start to bloom. During the break, COVID conditions have remained quiet on campus and in Knox County, with no new cases reported among students or employees. KPH reports continued decrease in new cases and hospitalizations, and Knox County is at the Low COVID-19 Community Level according to the CDC.

The College will remain at Campus Activity Level 0 as students return to campus. We strongly encourage all students to test before traveling back to campus, and rapid tests will remain available at the Campus Mail Center in Gund Commons. Any student who tests positive off campus during spring break should report their result to Health Services at health@kenyon.edu and complete their isolation before returning to campus, if possible. COVID-19 remains with us, and with students and employees returning to campus from around the nation and the world, each of us will want to consider our choices regarding masking, social distancing, and gathering as we return to the semester, and we encourage everyone to respect and support one another in those choices.

Welcome back!
