Class may have been out of session, but that didn’t stop students from expanding their horizons over the summer.
For some, it was a chance to get hands-on experience and develop practical skills in a career field that interests them. Students found valuable work opportunities in finance, the arts, publishing, marketing and much more.
Some flexed their mental muscles in other ways, advancing research with faculty mentors, attending conferences, and learning in structured programs with their classmates in places as far-flung as Hollywood and Madrid.
All of them reported substantial growth that will serve as a catalyst for even richer experiences as they return to Gambier, excited for a new academic year.
