Student Advancement Officers

Every year, Student Advancement Officers work with the Advancement Division to encourage a culture of philanthropy on campus and reach out to alumni. They answer questions and ask for support, all while building valuable professional communication skills. Gifts to the Kenyon Fund support every day of life and learning on the Hill, including 23 varsity sports, unlimited dining, free laundry and generous financial aid.

Meet this year’s SAOs:

Andrew Lazowski ’27

“I enjoy biking on the Kokosing Gap Trail, playing basketball on Friday nights at the Lowry Center, and going running around the Village of Gambier. Second-floor balcony in the library is my favorite spot for studying. Making connections with people from different backgrounds is what makes Kenyon special.”

Major: Biology/pre-med

Involved: Running Club president, Volleyball Club president, Orientation Leader, Senior Class Gift Committee, Wiggin Street School volunteer, Generosity Project, Student Advancement Officer.

After graduation: I plan to take a gap year before attending medical school. I hope to continue my lifelong goal of helping people.

Despoina Katsiokali ’27

“What I most enjoy about Kenyon is how it motivates me to be the best version of myself, both academically and personally. Kenyon has helped me grow and thrive in an environment that is full of support and care. The memories will stay with me for many years to come!”

Majors: History and English with an emphasis in creative writing

After graduation: I would like to pursue a master's degree in human rights law and a Ph.D. in history later on.

Hannah Dunn-Helton ’27

“I love exploring the trails around Kenyon.”

Major: Anthropology

Involved: Co-president of What's K-poppin,’ treasurer of the Kenyon Anthropology Society, peer minister for Kenyon's Community of the Holy Spirit

After graduation: I hope to get a master's degree in archaeology.

Yehor Shyrokyi ’27

“The people and support networks at Kenyon are incredible.”

Majors: Psychology and film

After graduation: I aspire to be a screenwriter after graduation, or perhaps a therapist. I will go to grad school for psychology and see where life takes me from there.

Madeline Ha ’28

Major: Economics and math

After graduation: I will pursue a career in investment banking.

Malika Amidullayeva ’28

Majors: Statistics and mathematics, economics, minor in physics

After graduation: Live in New York, and work somewhere like JP Morgan Chase

Adrian Jordan ’28

“My favorite thing about Kenyon is its beautiful campus and the tight-knit community it fosters. I especially like walking on Middle Path or exploring the BFEC in autumn when the leaves are changing color.”

Major: Political science, minor in Chinese

Involved: Men’s golf team, Delta Tau Delta fraternity

After graduation: I hope to pursue a career in either advancement or law, and maybe find a way to combine the two fields!

Nhi Pham ’28

“I love watching the sunset with my friends at Kenyon, which is a great time to talk and take beautiful pictures.”

Majors: Economics and mathematics

Involved: Finance Club, Vietnamese Student Association

After graduation: I plan to pursue a career in finance and travel around the world.

Charlie Forger ’28

“I have really enjoyed my first two years here at Kenyon, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, reading and playing football.”

Major: Political science

After graduation: I hope to go into insurance sales and live in New York.

Momina Saleem ’29

“I love studying at Chalmers, especially in the third floor booths and enjoy a frozen chocolate from Wiggins (with too many shots of espresso).”

Major: Biology, concentration in neuroscience

Involved: South Asian Society, Muslim Student Association, Kenyon Asian Identities, International Society at Kenyon

After graduation: I aim to pursue a career in medicine as a physician, whilst striving to do research, asking questions and finding solutions!

Kyla Keller ’29

“I have made some of my closest friends from attending Kenyon and I am pushed to better myself every day.”

Major: Film

Involved: Kenyon College Players, Theta Delta Phi, Social Board, Soccer Club, acting in plays, musicals, films, hopefully dance team this upcoming year

After graduation: I plan to move to New York or Los Angeles, become a film actor, win an Oscar, and then go on Broadway.

Iris Andracki ’29

“I love how immersed the campus is with nature and how gorgeous everything looks in the fall!”

Major: Sociology, minor in history

Involved: Editor for Kenyon’s Circle K Club, executive member of the Rural Cause

After graduation: I’d love to go to graduate school to do something with public health or urban planning.

Gabriel Dewey ’29

After graduation: I hope to build a career in wealth management.

Divine Dabire ’29

“What I enjoy most about Kenyon is the environment. Not only nature-wise, but especially the community environment, the natural way life flows here and the way people interact with Kenyon and each other in their everyday life.”

Major: Biology, minor in Arabic

Involved: Archon, Sisterhood

After graduation: I plan on going to medical school to become a doctor, either a dermatologist or an OB/GYN.

Erin Fallon ’29

“The aesthetics; Kenyon is genuinely beautiful. The nature surrounding Kenyon is so tranquil, and I love going on walks around campus and on the Gap Trail. Spending time outside is the perfect way to relax. Secondly, the people make Kenyon an amazing experience. There are so many creative and intelligent minds here.”

Majors: Film and American studies

Involved: The Horn Gallery, helping out on senior thesis films

After graduation: Work in the film industry.

Eva Hefner ’30

“I enjoy the welcoming and supportive community Kenyon fosters through students and staff along with the beautiful scenery and occasional dining hall ice cream bar!”

Major: Undecided (interested in psychology and sociology)

Involved: Volunteering at the Kenyon Farm and elementary school, Outdoors Club, Fools on the Hill

After graduation: I would love to study abroad in the future and create positive change in the world!
