The Philadelphia Chapter of the Kenyon College Alumni Association invites you to a virtual interactive seminar about the martini hosted by Christopher Bloom '73. The Seminar will discuss the martini in its various forms, as well as related vintage cocktails.

As part of the seminar participants will be invited to make a martini at the beginning of the session and a related vintage cocktail towards the end of the session. The seminar will cover techniques for making martinis (including the burning question, should a martini be shaken or stirred?), the history of the martini and recopies for the martini and related cocktails.

In addition to being a Kenyon graduate, Chris Bloom is a lawyer and trained mixologist. He currently serves as counsel to the United States Bartenders’ Guild and the USBG National Charity Foundation.
