The Departments of Modern Languages and Literatures, English, and the Kenyon College Community Development Fund (KCCDF) welcome Francisco Soler Muñoz.

Francisco Soler Muñoz is a Spanish poet from Málaga whose vast body of work has been published all around the globe. His poems have been translated into English, Swedish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Greek, Romanian, Macedonian, Uzbek, Bulgarian, Assamese and Bengali. His work also appears in several anthologies and in over a hundred literary magazines.

In his work, he uses a simple and accessible poetic language loaded with meaning and emotion. His poems are full of metaphors and symbols that invite the reader to reflect on their own life and experiences that have brought them to where they are.  

His literary work is a valuable contribution to contemporary poetry and exemplifies the power that poetry has to connect us with our deeper humanity.

His lyrical-self offers us testimony of his existence and shows us a universal poetry that embraces the thirst for justice and peace while it raises the flag of love.
