Soren
Soren Roeser '26 invites you to experience a fast-paced, eclectic mélange of expressive German and French songs full of vivid imagery and gripping stories, as well as heartfelt and humorous musical theatre. This recital is a manifestation of Soren's colorful time spent in the Kenyon acapella and choral community, as well as his experiences in foreign languages and the performing arts before Kenyon.

This recital is accompanied on piano by Christa Brady. Tamara Seckel has taught Soren voice lessons at Kenyon for two years, which allowed the material in this recital to develop, and has been singing in the Kenyon College Chamber Singers for three years, which he considers the highlight of his entire college experience, despite never having been in any choir before Kenyon.

Soren went to the French international school of Chicago and later worked at the Museum of Science and Industry as an educator onboard a preserved German U-boat. He also trained as an airplane pilot and joined the Commemorative Air Force to crew one of only two B-29 bombers that still fly. Soren is a drama major and concentrates his other studies in astronomy and music.
