Jana Heckerman is a senior music major, with studio art and German minors, from Santa Monica, California. She has studied music theory and composition with Professors Ross Feller and Ted Buehrer and conducting with Professor Benjamin Locke. She studied voice for three years with Tamara Seckel. Jana leads many student-run musical groups, music directing classical treble ensemble Colla Voce and vocal jazz group Take 5. She also occasionally music directs theater productions for groups on campus. Jana is a four-year member of the Kenyon Chamber Singers and has participated in the Gamelan ensemble.
