Kenyon welcomes Phillip Compeau, associate teaching professor of Computational Biology at Carnegie Mellon University. Join us for Compeau's research presentation on "Scalable Online Education and Student-Centric Administration."

Over the past ten years, Compeau has been privileged to create several successful open online education projects at the intersection of biology and computer science that have reached over a million learners and been adopted in hundreds of universities worldwide. He will outline his philosophy in building online education projects at scale and discuss his current initiatives. Compeau will also describe his efforts in program administration at Carnegie Mellon University with respect to building new programs and fostering a welcoming community for all students that puts their needs first.

Join us on Thursday, December 1, from 11:10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Hayes Hall 109 for this exciting presentation. We hope to see you there!
