Join fellow Kenyon alumni, parents and friends as we explore the VMFA’s collection of art by African American and African Diasporic artists. From enslaved artists such as potter David Drake, to the innovative styles of Aaron Douglas, to the reimagining of art by Kehinde Wiley, VMFA’s collection spans the history of the U.S.A. Looking forward to seeing you all!
Parking is available in the museum’s lots for $6 per day and there is also typically street parking available. We will meet by the gift shop before the tour. Following the tour we will gather at the museum’s cafe for a casual lunch.
Tour admission fees will be covered courtesy of Kenyon's Alumni Office.
Please register by Wednesday, Feb. 7.
