The Department of English and Creative Writing welcomes novelist Dur e Aziz Amna to Kenyon.
South Asian novelist Dur e Aziz Amna is the author of "A Splintering" (2026) winner of the Stanfords Prize for Fiction and a BBC Book Club pick. Her previous novel, "American Fever" (2022) won the South Asian Book Award and the APALA Award for Literature. She was selected as Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2022 and has won the Salam Prize and the Financial Times / Bodley Head Essay Prize. A graduate of Yale College, Dur e has an MFA from the Helen Zell Writers' Program at the University of Michigan.
