The Department of English and the LGBTQ+ Diversity Fund present a reading by nonfiction writer Lars Horn.

Horn is the author of "Voice of the Fish: A Lyric Essay" (Graywolf 2022), winner of both the 2020 Graywolf Nonfiction Prize and the 2023 Great Lakes College Association New Writers Award for Creative Nonfiction. "Voice of the Fish" was also named an Honor Book for the 2023 Stonewall Israel Fishman Nonfiction Book Award and an American Booksellers Association Indies Introduce Selection. 

Their writing has appeared in the Kenyon Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, Poets & Writers, Granta, Literary Hub, and the Rumpus, among other places. They teach at Columbia University and live in New York with their wife, Jaquira Díaz.
