The Kenyon College Players present "Hedda Gabler" by Henrik Ibsen in a new translation by Patrick Marber.

Home from a too-long honeymoon, Hedda Tesman finds herself gasping for air. Stuck in a world that wants her to be exactly what she’s not, she seizes power in every way she can. In this contemporary, immersive interpretation of Ibsen’s timeless play, her attempts are ill-fated: a society that pushes women into marriage and motherhood leaves them no choice but to drown, burn or rot.

Content warning: This production includes depiction of suicide, gunshots and gun violence, and depictions of alcoholism.
