You're invited to join a virtual book club open to all Pittsburgh-area (or other interested) alumni, parents and friends of Kenyon. At this meeting of the book club, we will discuss "Velvet was the Night" by Silvia Moreno Garcia, a piece of historical noir literature set in 1970s Mexico City. During a time of student protests and political unrest, this novel is about a daydreaming secretary, a lonesome enforcer and the missing young woman they are both desperate to find.
