Massage demonstration

Join Ori Flomin for an open Shiatsu massage practice on Friday, March 29, from 4:10 - 5:30 p.m. in the Bolton Dance Studio.

Shiatsu is a Japanese massage in which the pressure is applied to particular points of the body to ease aches, pains, tension and fatigue.

Ori Flomin has been practicing Shiatsu since 1998. He studied at the prestigious Ohashi Institute in New York City and since then has maintained an active practice at his home in
New York City or on the road.

Shiatsu is a perfect way to treat yourself as it focuses on balancing the flow of energy in the body to promote health and vitality. Stretching is also applied to the body to increase flexibility and loosen the muscles. A session focuses on balancing the flow of energy in the body through the meridians, the pathways of the energy. By promoting the steady and unimpeded flow of energy in the body, health is optimized with the added benefits of relaxation and rejuvenation.

As we experience more stress and anxiety during these uncertain times, our bodies and mind crave to find balance and harmony; the importance of self-care and healing is greater than ever.
